Privacy Policy
Last Updated: December 02, 2025
At SafeStatement.app (“we,” “us,” or “our”), accessible from https://safestatement.app, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by SafeStatement.app and how we use it.
1. The Core Promise: Client-Side Processing (No Uploads)
We operate differently from standard file conversion websites. We do not upload your files to our servers.
- Local Processing: All PDF conversion happens entirely within your web browser using WebAssembly technology.
- No Data Storage: Because the files are processed on your device, we never see, store, copy, or transmit your financial documents, bank statements, or extracted Excel data.
- Password Safety: If your PDF requires a password, that password is used strictly by your browser to decrypt the file locally. It is never sent to our servers.
You can verify this by disconnecting your internet connection (Flight Mode) before converting a file; our tool will still function perfectly.
2. Information We Collect
While we do not collect your banking data, we do collect standard web traffic information to improve our website and monetize our traffic.
A. Log Files SafeStatement.app follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. The information collected by log files includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable.
B. Cookies and Web Beacons Like any other website, SafeStatement.app uses “cookies”. These cookies are used to store information including visitors’ preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users’ experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors’ browser type and/or other information.
3. Google AdSense & DoubleClick DART Cookie
We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google is a third-party vendor on our site. It uses cookies, known as DART cookies, to serve ads to our site visitors based upon their visit to www.safestatement.app and other sites on the internet.
- Ad Personalization: Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Opt-Out: Users may opt-out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network Privacy Policy at the following URL – https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- User Choices: Alternatively, you can opt out of some third-party vendor’s use of cookies for interest-based advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
4. Affiliate Links and Tracking
We participate in affiliate marketing programs (including but not limited to Impact, PartnerStack, and Zoho). This means that if you click on a link to a recommended product (such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) and make a purchase or sign up, we may receive a commission.
- Tracking: When you click an affiliate link, a cookie is placed on your browser to track any sales for purposes of commissions. This cookie does not contain your personal banking data.
5. CCPA Privacy Rights (Do Not Sell My Personal Information)
Under the CCPA, among other rights, California consumers have the right to:
- Request that a business that collects a consumer’s personal data disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal data that a business has collected about consumers.
- Request that a business delete any personal data about the consumer that a business has collected.
- Request that a business that sells a consumer’s personal data, not sell the consumer’s personal data.
Since we do not collect or sell your personal file data, these requests apply primarily to standard web tracking data. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
6. GDPR Data Protection Rights
We would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:
- The right to access – You have the right to request copies of your personal data.
- The right to rectification – You have the right to request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- The right to erasure – You have the right to request that we erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
7. Children’s Information
Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity. SafeStatement.app does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13.
8. Consent
By using our website, you hereby consent to our Privacy Policy and agree to its Terms and Conditions.
